Mesquite Gastroenterology and Surgery Center (MGSC) was founded in 2009 by Dr. Miguel A Arenas. MGSC is an outpatient procedure facility, built to provide our patients the latest technology in endoscopy and the highest level of service. Having an on-site surgery center enables us to perform these outpatient procedures in the comfort and security of our offices. Our nurses have extensive gastroenterology experience, and along with the rest of our staff, we offer the most convenient and comfortable care in the city.

Our physicians are certified to perform all gastrointestinal procedures and have established a reputation for excellence in endoscopy – a procedure enabling the doctor to look inside the digestive track. We stay up-to-date on new technologies and advancements in medicine. With colon cancer being the third most common cancer of men and women in the U.S., we also have a special interest in colon cancer screening. Preventative care is essential and we are here to help.
